4 + 1 Video Players for Gnome

Why 4 + 1 ? Well VLC was using wxwidgets before switching to Qt so it's somewhat less integrated with the Gnome Desktop right now. That can also be said about MPlayer.

Also keep in mind that Miro is more than your regular video player. You can add rss feeds to it / browse the miro's built in TV and find a multitude of freely available videos that you can enjoy.

Also there aren't any download links present because you can find all of them in your Ubuntu / Fedora / OpenSUSE / Mandriva etc. package manager.

How an OS works

I am no expert in the field but only passionate about the subject, so I decided to do some research for the necessary information and present it in a general, easily comprehensible manner. As a result, I came up with an analogy. I hope it is an easily understandable one.

4 + 1 Video editors for Linux

Why 4 + 1 ? Well Gnome Subtitles isn't quite a video editor but it helped me a few times to quickly sync some subtitles.
