From the announcement:
The first bug-fix release in the 0.2a series has been released. Here are some of the bugs we fixed:

* Xynth freezing. This turned out to be multiple issues and took quite a while to solve!
* Updated ports. Mono, GCC and others are now available via the ports system.
* Large memory crashes. Users with 2GB or above of RAM were reporting crashes upon startup. This has hopefully been fixed, and has been tested on a wide range of configurations.
